FOM8E1 is one kind of PDH with 150Mbit/s transferring bandwidth. It contains 8 E1 ports, 1 100Mbit/s 10M/100M Bas_T auto adapted Ethernet, 1 N×64K V.35, 2 RS232. FOM8E1 multiplexes these signals into one piece of optical signal and it is one with small volume. With LED alarm and control unit on the front pannel, we can set up working mode, and supervise the status conviniently.
FOM8E1 has one optical interface, also can be extended to dual to be 1+1 protection. The laser shuts down automatically when it is not working.
OMT240S, as a branch of FOM8E1, has all the functions of FOM8E1. Additionally the eighth E1 works as a V.35-E1 converter. One terminal is E1 port, the other one is V.35 optional. This special function is designed for convenient use for customers.

FOM8E1's framework is made of compount metal. 19 inch external width, 1U height, 25cm length.
This equipment can be located on any stable base, and can be also screwed through mounting hole to 19 inch cabinet.
