FOM480 is a 155Mbit/s transfer rate optical-electric transfer device. It has 16 standard E1 ports, 1×100Mbit/s 10/100M BAS_T self-adaptable Ethernet interface to convert electrical signals to 1 port optical signal. FOM480 is a multi-task platform PDH device with extendable board and sockets. It contains LED and control panel on front panel. Users can set its work modes and monitor current status.

FOM480 has single-optical-port, which can be extended to double-optical-port, 1+1 protection. The lacer has auto-shutdown at non-working status function.

 

FOM480 has 7 card slots. From the left, the first slot is power supply slot and another 4 slots are extension card slots, and 100M Ethernet card, and Optical interface card
